WiFi SPARK is delighted to announce the roll-out of their WiFi service across a further 17 Park Holidays UK sites. Park Holidays UK is the largest provider of Caravan Holiday Parks in the South of England. The service will offer customers across their sites, the facility to purchase time from the comfort of their holiday home, meaning that even when they are away from home or work they can stay connected!
The Requirement
Park Holidays UK required a fully managed system with minimum involvement from their own staff. They needed as close to 100% coverage of their parks as possible and the provision of a reliable and much needed service to their thousands of customers.
Due to past experiences with installing WiFi on the holiday parks, WiFi SPARK knew the service would be very popular so it was of paramount importance that the equipment would withstand heavy traffic demands.
The equipment also had to be ascetically pleasing and blend in with the park’s current surroundings.
Solution
WiFi SPARK’s installations across the parks consisted of a number of clustered, directional access points. This insured that maximum coverage was provided.
No installation would be complete without a WiFi SPARK Gateway. The software for these gateways having been created by WiFi SPARK’s own in-house developers. WiFi SPARK Gateways are responsible, for bandwidth control, content filtering and user management.
Every component WiFi SPARK installs is remotely monitored by the SPARK Network Monitoring System so in the rare event that there is a problem, trained engineers can acknowledge and resolve the issue before the customer even knows. Customers also benefit from WiFi SPARK’s 24/7 helpdesk that offers any assistance or advice for connecting to the service.
Conclusion
WiFi SPARK has a pedigree of years of quality installations in holiday parks and we believe our experience is demonstrated in the up-take of the system with very little support required for the end user. This has provided Park Holidays UK a great value added service to their already extensive list of park facilities. The service has been promoted through the use of flyers, posters and window stickers supplied by WiFi SPARK as well as advertising on the Park Holidays UK website.
