The Repeatit is a long-range, wireless USB weatherproof antenna. This unit is ideal for people that are situated a long way from a WiFi access point or are experiencing problems with signal strength. This unit is very popular with boat users as it allows them to moor some distance off shore and still connect to hotspots.
Installation
The weatherproof directional Antenna can be positioned on a flat surface or mounted, using the supplied bracket, inside or outside. Once you have decided on a location for the antenna, the CD ROM, which is supplied with the kit, will guide you through the setup wizard. The Repeatit just needs to be plugged into your computer’s spare USB socket using the supplied 4.5 metre USB cable. The distance between the Booster and computer can be increased by the use of active USB extenders allowing you to achieve optimised location of the antenna while connecting directly to your laptop.
