Caerphilly is a county borough in southern Wales, straddling the ancient county boundary between Glamorgan and Monmouthshire. Caerphilly county borough is headed by the town of Caerphilly, famous for its popular mediaeval castle – which is the largest in Wales – its Caerphilly cheese, and as the birth place of Tommy Cooper.

CCBC needed a supplier to meet the current requirements and future growth as dictated by the growing demand for WiFi. It was imperative for the solution to be CCBC branded and supported by a technical helpdesk between 9-5 Monday to Friday as a minimum.

The solution offers free, filtered WiFi to visitors into the main offices for Caerphilly County Borough Council in Wales and has been rolled out into more areas including libraries, new council offices and the sports centre in Caerphilly town centre.
